Textbooks and Resources

Most of the coursework is included within the syllabus for both the Certificate and the Diploma.  Although there is a comprehensive recommended reading list and guide to valuable links for the course, the following text books along with Jeff Mayo’s collection listed on page 6 are recommended for all coursework:

Contemporary Astrologers Handbook        Aspects       Margaret Hone

Mayo Certificate and FAS Diploma graduate - SueTompkins ‘The Contemporary Astrologer’s Handbook: An in-depth guide to interpreting your horoscope’ and ‘Aspects in Astrology’.
And Mayo course contributor Margaret Hone, ‘The Modern Text-Book of Astrology: Revised Edition

In addition, students who register for the Diploma course will need to purchase a Michelson Midnight Ephemeris and a Placidus Table of Houses before starting.

Please refer to the School’s website,  for student testimonials, links for the purchase of books and software, information about astrological organisations, Tutor and Contributor’s details as it is continuously being updated.  Additionally, there will be a forum provided for students to communicate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, internationally from 2009.
